The Lanark District Maple Syrup Producers Association presents the annual TAPPING OUT EVENT. On Saturday, March 8 from 11am to 2pm at Thompson's Sweet Retreat in Clayton. In addition to the ceremonial tapping of the first maple tree in spring, there will be live music, lunch for sale, including maple syrup, maple butter and maple taffy! Join in on a winter hike then warm up beside the campfire.
